2026 Season: 13 the Musical
We’re bringing 13 to the Gooseberry stage in 2026! This high-energy musical follows teens as they navigate friendships, choices and growing up. We offer opportunities to act and dance, run sound and lights, manage the stage, build sets, sew costumes, and more.
February 16: Information session (6:30 pm, Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre at Concordia College)
February 21: Audition prep workshop (optional)
March 8: Application deadline for pit musicians and technical crew members (apply now!)
March 8-9: Auditions for cast members (learn more and sign up!)
March 10: Callbacks for cast members (if needed)
June 8-July 25: Student classes, rehearsals and performances at Concordia College
July 16-19 and 23-25: Performance dates

Student Instrumentalists
This summer, Gooseberry will connect professional musicians with our students to create a Mentorship Music Program. Students will play side-by-side with pros.
Pit positions are limited due to the score. We are only seeking student electric guitar and student bass guitar players.
Students should email a one-minute video of themselves playing their instrument to musicaldir@gmail.com and gppdirector@gmail.com by March 8. Prepare an audition song no longer than one minute (about 32 bars of music).
